As can be seen the mistake was between which of the two brothers Robert (of Sracummer) and Henry (Long Harry) fathered which children, and also in which order James' siblings came. The Killanummery parish records and the information provided by James Peyton Hamilton (directly from Mary Hamilton and Jane Young) show this revised tree to be accurate.

There is another area of doubt.... Charles (The Hill) was a Catholic but his brother James was a Protestant. This makes me think it far more probable that William (1724 - 1787) was the son of James, not Charles. I haven't made this alteration as it is speculation and nothing can be proved at this time.
